Designing a 3-tiered tray for Easter

Hi friends! Since I have been home today for Spring Break and I’m craving spring temperatures so badly, I decided to style my three-tiered tray for Easter. If you don’t have a three-tiered tray, it is something that I highly recommend that you get. It’s an easy way to add some personality to your kitchen or even a bathroom. There are so many fun ways to style it and you can get tons of inspiration on Pinterest. You can go to my Pinterest board and see what I’ve pinned here.

Trays are so popular right now. You can buy them at just about any of my favorite stores. Kirkland’s has this one online. You can find this tray at Wayfair.  My absolute favorite one is from Target and you can buy it here.  I bought mine several years ago from Wal-mart, but it has since been discontinued. It is very similar to the tray at Target.

Trays are fun because you can take basically any kind of home decor and style it to match the current season or the current room that it is in. My tray has recently looked like:

This is a generic way to decorate the tray and not at all related to a season or a holiday.

Step one: Gather decor

To style the tray for Easter, I first gathered all of my Easter decorations. I don’t have much Easter decor, but I gathered all of my bunnies just to see what I could use:

Step two: Start with an clean slate

I emptied the tray of all of my other decor so that I could start with a clean slate.

Step three: Start with the focal point

I started by adding my tallest bunny. The only place he would fit is on the top tray. Then I wanted another white bunny, but I put him on the opposite side on the tray below. I bought these bunnies at ‘At Home’ recently for $9.99.  Then I placed the “by His wounds we are healed” print on the bottom because after all, isn’t that what Easter is all about! Praise God for sending His Son for us!!!

Step four: fill in

Finally, I gathered a cross that my dad carved for me. I love that my sweet daddy has a heart for Jesus and wanted all of his family to have one of these crosses. I added some green orbs, some velvety greenery (they remind me of rabbit ears), and a large succulent just to fill in the empty spots. There are some pictures on Pinterest that you see that have much more packed in their tray, but I’m a pretty simple girl who doesn’t like too much “stuff”.

Step five: sit back and enjoy!

Easter is such a fun holiday! It’s always wonderful to get together with family for an Easter egg hunt and see the pretty, new Easter clothes that everyone wears. However, Easter is my favorite time of year because it reminds me of the sacrifice that God made for me and for you. I can’t even begin to imagine the love that God has for me that He gave His only Son to die so that I might live eternally with Him!  If you don’t know Jesus, I would love to share Him with you. Three tiered trays, bunnies and pretty dresses are nothing compared to the day that you and I will get to enter the Kingdom because of Jesus’ Resurrection.

Be blessed,

  1. I don’t have a “daddy carved” 3-crosses!!! You must be his favorite!!

    1. Seriously? I thought we all had one. I think I really MUST be his favorite! Lol

  2. Super cute! I always have trouble styling mine, possible because it’s only 2 tiers and I need more space! ?
